Specialist Optometrist / Director
Pervaze is our Director and a specialist independent prescribing Optometrist. Pervaze completed his optometry degree at Aston University in 2001 and has worked for many multiple-site and independent opticians.
He co-founded Direct Eyecare in 2009 with his partner,
he is responsible for all aspects of optometry
and improving diagnostic techniques.
As an independent prescribing optometrist, Pervaze can offer an extensive range of ocular medicine advice and supply prescriptions for eye-related disorders, which he thoroughly enjoys. He was one of the first to qualify in Wales as a specialist in ocular therapeutics. He also holds the WECS accreditation and is qualified to supply low vision aids. He is focused on providing the best for his patients whilst looking after their eye health. With our cutting-edge 3D imaging equipment and Pervaze’s specialist understanding of eye conditions, patients concerned about their eye health can be confident that they are in very capable hands.
Aqueela Jan
Managing Director
Aqueela is our Managing Director, she is a graduate and has a background in healthcare, working primarily in the NHS before becoming the co-founder of Direct Eyecare in 2009. Aqueela is ambitious and drives forward ideas whilst always looking to implement new ways of delivering outstanding customer value and service. She thoroughly enjoys handling day-to-day operations including buying spectacles for the business, keeping up with new trends.
Aqueela is skilled at interpreting data and analyzing patterns of the business, she loves to compile insightful reports always looking for improvements for staff and customers of Direct Eyecare alike. Aqueela is adept at putting in place systems and structures needed to ensure there is a firm foundation to drive and manage success.
She is passionate about both business performance and people development and support in equal measure, she coaches her team to achieve high standards in a competitive industry whilst looking after their wellbeing.
Sylwia Musialek
Practice Manager
Sylwia is the manager of our practices and has been a valued member of the team for over 13 years. Starting as a bookkeeper, she worked her way into management through dedication, hard work and genuine passion for the business.
She is passionate about providing excellent care and service to every customer and takes great pride in supporting both the team and the practices, always helping to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Her experience, attention to detail and commitment make her an invaluable part of the team.
Holly Jenkins
Optical Advisor
Holly is a friendly and knowledgeable optical assistant who has been part of the team for over three years. In that time, she has become a trusted and familiar face to many patients, known for being honest, bubbly, and kind. With an artistic eye, Holly loves helping people choose glasses that not only suit their prescription needs but also reflect their personality and look great. Whether it’s booking appointments, offering frame advice, or answering questions, she is always ready to help with a smile and genuine care.
Ashley Horton
Trainee Optical Advisor
Ashley is our Trainee Optical Advisor and brings with her 8 years of retail experience. She now works closely with the team on reception, helping patients and ensuring the practice runs smoothly while providing a warm and friendly welcome to everyone who visits.
Ashley is passionate about learning new skills within the optical industry and is dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. Her positive attitude and approachable nature make her a valued member of the team.
David Osborne
Optical Advisor
David brings over 6 years of experience in optics and is known for his friendly, outgoing personality. He loves getting to know patients and making every visit feel relaxed and welcoming. With his chatty nature and passion for helping people find the perfect eyewear, David is dedicated to ensuring every customer leaves with confidence and a smile.
